Known as the “place of quiet” the lodge is nestled in lush bushveld where the roar of the lion can be heard for miles around.

Quiet rambles through the interesting village, or possibly a game of golf at the beautifully maintained bushveld course of Rooiberg Golf Club, just 500m away from the resort. The 10 luxury double rooms have their en suite bathrooms. There is a entertainment room and bar and the food is excellent. You can unwind and relax alongside the enclosed swimming pool or go on a game drive to experience true Bushveld tranquility on a nearby game farm about 28km from the lodge. The friendly staff will assist you in all your needs. Ukutula hosts a unique volunteer program that allows participants to work in close contact with the lions. These volunteers get to care for the baby lions, bottle feeding them and seeing to their every need. They also get the opportunity to assist our trained staff in the care of the older lions. Cleaning and maintaining the enclosures as well as helping with the feeding program.
